Using palm oil as the raw material, palm wax is fully natural, biodegradable. It is a renewable and inexhaustible resource with various applications.

It can be powdery, flakey or beady.Palm wax blends well with other vegetable and paraffin waxes.When blended with paraffin Wax, it can used up to 60% -80% especially for container candles .But the proportion is depend on different kind of moulds.So pls do a test to ascertain the different proportion to each moulds.When it is making pillar candles,the portion should be reduced to less than 20%.

When it is used in pressing machine,It could be blended with paraffin wax and pressed in to mould.As it ha s lower viscosity than paraffin wax,candle will be easy to be removed from cup.

Palm wax has different burn characteristics to paraffin waxes. It burns with a smaller flame.For a similar size pure paraffin wax candle, a candle made with Palm wax blend should be wicked bigger wick size.As a guideline, use a 20% larger wick and a flat braided wick type.

Except for candle making, it is used as lubricant, waterproofing agent, polishing agent,Rubber/Tire,emulsion and cosmetic industries etc.   Palm wax is an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional candle wax. Palm wax is harvested from sustainable resources and burns cleanly. Home and personal care products often contain palm wax under the name carnauba wax. Because this wax is edible, it is used to coat things such as floss, candies and gum. It is also used to polish cars and surfboards.  

Palm wax is an ideal material for making candles. With a higher melting point than other waxes, it does not melt from hot summer temperatures. Palm wax takes color and fragrance well. It also mixes with other waxes well, resulting in versatility for shapes, scents and texture.    Palm wax also has high contraction, meaning that when it cools, it will pull away from the edges of a mold and make for easier extraction. Because palm wax burns cleanly, it makes for better food-warmer candles than other waxes. Palm wax is available in different grades and softness, usually coming from suppliers in beads for easy melting.
